   Good afternoon Chief, Service Director or Training Officer,

    

   Recently some misinformation circulated among area EMS providers  
regarding the trauma designation of some of our Region’s hospitals.  
Please ensure your crews are familiar with the Region II Trauma Point  
of Entry plan to ensure patients are transported to the correct  
facility in a timely manner. If there are any questions concerning  
this, any other point of entry plan or if you would like more training  
material, please feel free to contact me. The Region II Trauma POE  
Plan is attached.
