[HFDlist] EMS Rounds - 2/4 - Important - Please Read

Good Morning,

Beginning on Tuesday, Feb 4 at 6pm our department will begin to host  
regional EMS rounds here at our Headquarters. This regional approach  
will continue to be led by Dr. Weisberg, but will incorporate members  
and their calls from Paxton, Rutland, and Barre. In addition to  
providing a more regional approach to call review, we will be hosting  
six rounds sessions per calendar year, while maintaining an  
expectation that all providers will attend a minimum of four rounds.  
Some of these sessions will still include a practical/hands-on  
component. In the future we hope to be able to make some technological  
upgrades which will allow for live streaming and/or recording of  
rounds to help meet this requirement. This will take a bit of time to  
figure out, but should be a good product once we get it rolled out. 

I know this is a bit last minute, but I ask that if you are available  
to please make every effort to attend. As this falls on a regular  
call-training night, Asst. EMS Coordinator Plasse will be working with  
non-EMT call-staff to renew your First Responder certifications  
beginning at 630pm. 

Lastly, I would like to thank Chief Hall, Pingitore, Knipe, Rogowski,  
and Dr. Weisberg for their support of this concept.
