   Good afternoon,

    

   You may have heard that UMass is opening the new North Pavillion  
Tuesday (1/14/25). The additional 72 beds will hopefully allow the  
emergency department to decompress with less patients boarding in the  
ED while waiting for a bed for admission. To support the patient  
movement over to the new North Pavillion, COASTAL AMBULANCE WILL BE  
UTILIZING THE TWO AMBULANCE BAYS ON THE FAR RIGHT (opposite the  
helipad) at the University campus. THIS WILL BE FROM 8A-4P TOMORROW  
(1/14) THROUGH FRIDAY (1/17). We're asking that other ambulance  
services PLEASE LEAVE THOSE BAYS OPEN during that time.
