[HFDlist] Up coming SAFE Events

WE have a few upcoming SAFE Events that need Staffing.

1) Need 1 to 2 members to be an available Engine to the First  
Congrational Church Pre-School on M.W, or F of next week between 9:30  
and 11:30.  Short little stop, to let the kids see the Fire Truck and  
climb on it.  Non-Educational Format, basic explanation of truck.

LET ME KNOW AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, MUST BE CLEAR TO DRIVE ENGINE 1,2 or 3

  Dear Community Member,

  On Wednesday, April 6, 2022, Mayo Elementary School will be holding  
a Community Reading day to highlight the importance of reading with  
our students. 

  We would like to invite you to join our celebration as a Guest  
Reader. Community readers are asked to arrive at 9:15am for coffee and  
introductions, at 9:30am you will be escorted to the classrooms and  
then spend about a half hour reading to our students.

  This year we have chosen "Choose to be Nice" as our theme for  
Community Reading Day. We will be providing a book for you to read  
that will highlight the importance of teamwork, showing kindness and  
respect. These books will be gifted to the classroom in which you read.

your time with the students at Dr. Leroy E. Mayo Elementary School.
