[HFDlist] EMS Guidance for Covid 19 Response

All:

Attached please find the response guidance for patients that are presumed to have Covid-19.  The dispatch center has a set of questions to ask patients that fall under the chief complaint criteria for Fever, Resp. Distress, General Weakness etc.  Should a patient rule in on these questions, the dispatch center will notify responding crews that the patient has “a positive response to the questionnaire”.  If at any time providers have a suspicion of Covid-19, proper PPE should be worn by all in contact with the patient.
