Hello Everyone,

Please join me in welcoming Tim Sherblom to his new role as Chief of 
Police.  Tim was the highest scoring candidate in our Assessment Center 
testing that took place last month, and we look forward to his 
stewardship of the HPD.

Tim will take over as Chief at the end of today as we bid a fond 
farewell to Dave Armstrong in his retirement.

We are planning a more official and ceremonial swearing in for Tim at 
the end of January.  Details are still being worked out but we have set 
the date for Wednesday, January 29 at 6:00 PM.  You will be receiving 
invitations soon.
