All:

When the department does a full recall for response to an incident there
are expectations on those who respond to the station.  When coming in
for a recall, it is expected that personnel will be ready to respond
with department apparatus in a quick and efficient manner.  This
includes donning your PPE and getting the apparatus on the road in a
response mode.  The only exception to this is when the officer on scene
holds the response to certain companies.  From here forward, when recall
personnel respond to their stations, once there is a crew it is expected
that the apparatus will sign on with Holden Fire en-route to the scene.
If the call has been held to the companies on the road, then the recall
personnel will alert either Holden Fire or Command that  there is
staffing for an additional company or companies. This is very important
if additional calls for service come in, the IC will know staffing
levels and can send appropriate units to respond.  On another topic, if
you respond in for a recall, you should remain in the station until the
apparatus is back in quarters unless released by a department officer.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.
