vehicles on Saturday.  Between social media and emails like the one

Good Afternoon,

      I wanted to take the opportunity this afternoon to send a very 
long overdue "Thank You" to you and all the members of your departments. 
My children (and I)  along with our neighbors enjoyed the parade of 
emergency vehicles this afternoon and we were more than happy to wave 
and give a "thumbs up" to the people in those vehicles. I have lived in 
Holden almost all of my life and I can't tell you how happy I am that we 
live in such a safe and well maintained town. We have had a couple 
emergencies over the years and it's literally just a matter of minutes 
before help is there. I know these are difficult times for all of us, 
but every one of you do so much more than I could ever ask of anyone and 
for that I am truly grateful. I hope you and all members of your 
departments continue to be healthy and safe and know that so many people 
are thankful and appreciative for what you do every day.
