The Department of Fire Services is currently seeking to fill 25 Instructor positions.

DFS employees will need to use their employee ID to log-in and view and/or apply.  Internal job postings are only visible if you log-in using your employee ID.

DFS employees seeking assistance logging-in or applying may call 1-855-447-7778 for support.


Helpful hints for first time logging in:

All DFS employees have a Mass Careers account that includes your name, Employee ID and the email address that you have recorded in SSTA (where you enter your timesheets).

First time log in:

1.      Enter your Employee ID as the User Name and then click forgot password.  Your initial password will be emailed to you and you will be guided to create your own password.

2.     If you do not have an email set-up in SSTA, you will need to set one up directly in SSTA under the tab "My Systems Profile."  And then you may log into the Mass Careers job posting site one day after you enter or update your email in SSTA.

3.     If you attempt #1 above, and do not get an email with your password within 15 minutes - log into SSTA and double-check the email address you have established as your preferred contact.

4.     You can make 5 attempts to sign in before your account is locked. Call the Employee Service Center if you are locked out, or to reset your password if you are unable to successfully use the "Forgot your password?" link on the login page.
