HOLDEN RESIDENTS

The Town of West Boylston will be making a traffic pattern change just passed the Holden/West Boylston town line on Shrewsbury Street after 9:00PM on Thursday 11/17/2016. The following is a summary of the changes.

• A new stop sign will be installed at the bottom of Shrewsbury Street (which is Woodland St once you pass into West Boylston) at the fork with Prospect Street as you proceed south towards Worcester. This section will be a one-way road.
• If you are coming from Worcester on Prospect Street you will no longer be able to bear left at the fork towards Holden’s Shrewsbury Street. You will be required to proceed to the 4 corners at Woodland/Prospect Streets and turn left at the stop sign.
• There will be new stop signs installed both northbound and southbound on Prospect Street at the intersection of Woodland Street.
• Preceding west towards Holden, the stop sign on Woodland Street after the 4 corners (Woodland/Prospect Intersection) will be removed.
• The stop sign heading south on Prospect St after the 4 corners (Woodland/Prospect Intersection) will also be removed.
• Message boards and signage will be in place to remind motorists of the changes.
