As part of our ongoing commitment to the safety of our communities, 
emergency first responders, and railroad personnel, Providence and 
Worcester Railroad Company (“P&W”), in close cooperation with GATX 
Corporation (“GATX”), would like to invite representatives of your 
department to participate in a “Rail Tank Car Safety Training 
Class” in Worcester, MA. GATX is providing instruction and hands on 
training using their mobile TankTrainer™ classroom (a 33,500-gallon tank 
car outfitted with a variety of fittings, coatings and configurations). 
The training will cover a variety of rail car types and key government 
regulations.

The physical address of the P&W rail yard where the training cars and 
classes will be held is *75 Hammond Street, Worcester, MA 01610*. 
Classes will be held on *Wednesday, August 5th *and *Thursday, August 
6th. *The morning session will begin at 8:00AM and conclude at 12:00PM 
and the afternoon session will begin at 1:00PM and conclude at 4:00PM. 
The following class times and openings are currently available:

*_August 5th_*__

8:00AM Class 20 *5* openings remaining

1:00PM Class *20* openings remaining

*_August 6th_*__

8:00AM Class 20 *14* openings remaining

1:00PM Class 20 *15* openings remaining

Please note, the GATX TankTrainer™ mobile classroom will hold a maximum 
of *20* occupants per session, therefore, we must limit the number of 
representatives from each department planning to attend. Spaces will be 
reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.

Based upon the limited capacity and in order to reach out to a larger 
geographic area for this course we would like to limit the 
_per-department (City or Town) personnel to three or fewer_ 
representatives from each. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

Please reply via email prior to the cutoff date below and provide a list 
of attendees from your department. The cutoff date for is *Monday, July 
27^th * and I will send email updates upon receiving confirmation of 
attendees and when the classes are at capacity.

Safety is a core value at P&W and we believe this is a great opportunity 
for our emergency first response partners to not only participate in a 
one-of-a-kind learning experience with hands-on rail car training but 
also an opportunity to gain a better understanding of rail car safety
