Town Offices Closed Nov. 24 & 25
In observance of the Thanksgiving Day holiday, town offices will be closed
on Thursday, November 24 and Friday, November 25. Offices will reopen at 8
a.m., Monday, November 28. 

Gale Free Library Closed Nov. 24, Open Nov. 25
The Gale Free Library will be closed on Thursday, November 24, also. The
library will reopen at 9:30 a.m., Friday, November 25 for regular business
hours.

Thanksgiving Holiday Trash Collection, Nov. 24-26
There will be no trash collection on Thursday, November 24 due to the
Thanksgiving holiday. Residents who normally have their trash picked up on
Thursday will have it picked up on Friday, November 25. The normal Friday
collection will be picked up on Saturday, November 26.

New Phone Numbers at Starbard Building
Please be advised that as of today, Wednesday, November 23, the phone
numbers to the offices located in the Starbard Building changed. To reach
the Town Manager’s office, please dial (508) 210-5501; Treasurer/Tax
Collector’s office, (508) 210-5510; and the Assessors’ office, (508)
210-5515. 

Weather-Related Survival Skills Program, Dec. 1
The Holden Fire Department will host a Weather-Related Survival Skills
program, 10-11:30 a.m., Thursday, December 1, in the Public Safety
Building Meeting Room, 1370 Main Street. The same program will be
presented from 7-8:30 p.m. that day. This program is free and open to the

Composting/Brush Chipping Event, Dec. 3
The Department of Public Works will host a composting/brush chipping event
on Saturday, December 3. The event will run from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and
is for Holden residents, only. Proof of residency will be required. For
