[HFDlist] Personnel Updates

All:

Just some quick updates regarding our department personnel.

SR. FF/EMT Ryan Casper will be leaving the department with his last 
shift being 11/8/25.  SR. FF Casper has accepted a position with the 
City of Marlborough Fire Department.  Since his hiring in 2019, he has 
been a great asset to the department, and we wish him well in his new 
position.

FF/Paramedic Phil Brady has accepted a position in the private sector 
with Commonwealth Fusion as a Safety Engineer.   During his time here, 
Phil was able to obtain his paramedic certification and contributed a 
lot to the department with his hazardous materials knowledge.  His last 
physical shift in the station was on 10/7, his official last day is 
10/15/25.  We wish FF/Paramedic Brady good luck in his new career path.

The department has hired Tanyon Ventres and Thomas Kokernak as Recruit 
Call Firefighters.  Both are currently in the process of physicals and 
PAT's .

As of today, we have posted a FF/Paramedic position for one of the 
upcoming openings.Additionally, we had a viable candidate who was 
interviewed from the recently completed hiring process and that 
individual is currently in the background investigation phase.

Finally, the Town accepted the SAFER grant award as of 9/30/25, which 
starts our 180 day period of performance to prepare to hire the two 
career positions.
