Chiefs –

Please see attached advisory from Chief Fire Warden Dave Celino after 
seeing a significant increase in reports of actively burning snag trees 
on many wildfire incidents across the state.  This is more than what we 
typically see on average in the spring fire season and is connected 
directly to the ongoing impacts from 2024 drought impacts.
