BIDMC/Harvard Medical School will be holding a full scale disaster drill
at Anna Maria College on 6/8 from 08:00-14:00. There are 7 continuing
education hours available for EMT's/Paramedics.  They have requested
that we send 1 ambulance and 1 engine to participate.  Anyone interested

Good morning everyone, (Chief Rogowski I know you are away but if you
could pass this along much appreciated) we are three weeks out from the
full-scale disaster exercise at Anna Maria. I apologize for the somewhat
last-minute email, and I fully understand that participating in this
type of drill in June is very hard on municipalities.

The drill will be held on June 8^th , staging and registration should
start at 0800 hours at Anna Maria College, 50 Sunset Lane, Paxton the
drill moves quick, 2-3 hours, but your crews should expect to be on site
4-6 hours. There will be lunch on site (very important)and I believe 7
hours of Con-Ed for EMS providers. If you’re sending on-duty personnel
that is fine, just identify that when and if you commit so I can be sure
they can get in out quickly.

Just so everyone is aware there are a lot of moving pieces still falling
into place as of right now, so if you could just let me know if you
could potentially commit (or not, no big deal) to the following list
(below) that would be fantastic.

Also, I am very much working with CMRPC and the Central Regional
Homeland Security Council, there will be money for backfill and
overtime. With that said I am being told it will be from FY19 monies, so
required forms and documentation will need to be filled out quicker than
normal following the drill I will keep you all posted on that.

BIDMC/Harvard Medical School Disaster Medicine Fellowship is running the
Drill, the fellows are designing it as their Capstone for graduation. I
am using this to test my alarm cards and response plans moving forward
so bear with me as I expect some more bumps along the way.

This is a list of what we would like to see for this drill.

Spencer Fire - 1 Engine

Spencer Rescue- 1 Ambulance

Holden - 1 Engine, 1 Ambulance

Leicester - 1 Ladder, 1 Ambulance

Rutland - 1 Engine, 1 Ambulance

Barre - 1 Ladder, 1 Ambulance

West Boylston- 1 Engine, 1 Ambulance

Any questions please let me know.

And as always thank you for your support!

Mike
