Good morning,

Please be advised that the Cath Lab at UMass will be undergoing needed 
HVAC and power supply updates that require them to shut down for 
approximately 61 hours. St. V’s has agreed to accept all 911 STEMIs 
during this time. The shut down will be from Friday 12/08 at 6pm through 
Monday 12/11 7am.

Please advise your EMS crews of this outage and that all patients 
meeting STEMI criteria should be transported to the next closed PCI 
capable facility, which for most will be St. Vincent’s. This also 
includes patients previously in cardiac arrest the achieve ROSC. Of 
course, any unstable patient /active arrest should be transported to the 
closest facility (including UMass if applicable). Daily HHAN alerts will 
be sent by CMED as reminders.
