[HFDlist] Eng 2 Door Sensors

Good Afternoon-

As you know, we have ongoing issues with the roll up door sensors on Eng 
2. Currently, 3 of the 6 doors are showing door ajar when in reality 
they are closed/ secured. We are working with the door manufacturer to 
develop a plan for repairs.

In the mean time, we have overrode the sensors for the affected 3 doors. 
This has shut the constant alarm off but more importantly, will still 
notify you when when another door is actually open. While we have 
overrode the sensors, it will be a requirement for the driver and 
officer to verify all doors are closed/ secure before each trip, 
including responding to and returning from scenes.
