[HFDlist] Covid19 v5/Pre-Shift Screening

Good Afternoon,

Effective 3/25/2020 all personnel reporting for shift work shall  
report directly to the "Report Room" for a pre-shift temperature  
screening, and shall report any symptoms of fever(>100.4)/chills,  
cough, difficulty breathing, or GI upset to a shift officer before  
making their way to the Admin hallway for access to the crew areas. A  
documentation binder has been placed in the report room along with a  
ear probe thermometer and disposable protective caps. The device can  
be decontaminated using disposable medical grade wipes. After all  
members have completed the documentation for the shift, please place  
in the blue folder in my mailbox to protect privacy.

Also attached is the updated response guideline v5. Changes are highlighted.

A few reminders:
- Decontamination of ambulances should occur immediately following  
calls before leaving the receiving facility
- All PPE  needs to be disposed of in appropriate bins at the  
receiving facility (gloves, gowns, surgical masks), or wiped down for  
re-use (N95s, Goggles). Please remove all personal PPE devices from  
the ambulance prior to shift change.
