He received tpa within 52 mins of arrival.  Delay for tpa was no medical information, coworkers were able to help with contacts i.e. PCP and family.  As soon as the tpa bolus was given by Tom RN Pt then went to emergent thrombectomy by Dr. Wakhloo which was successful.  So successful that you would have a hard time believing he is the same man as yesterday.  His speech is perfect!!!!!!  R arm still a little weak but hx of rotator cuff inj.  R hand grasp fairly strong.  If you are on today and have a moment please go visit him in 2LICU rm 214.  He is a very thankful man!  He remembers many faces.
