Subject: Services for Retired Chief Belhumeur

Good evening,

First of all, I would like to thank all of the Chiefs from around the district that have reached out to me today offering support and kind words. This was a horrible day in the Town of Auburn, not only with the loss of Retired Chief Belhumeur, but with the tragic death of Auburn Police Officer Ronald Tarentino. Officer Tarentino was a good friend to our department and was friendly with many of our members and this senseless tragedy has hit both departments hard. We appreciate the support.

The services for Retired Chief Belhumeur have been announced. I will obviously be tied up this week and would ask that you reach out to Chief Parsons to confirm your attendance at the services for Chief Belhumeur. Chief Parsons will be coordinating the district showing.

The wake will be held on Thursday May 26th from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Britton Wallace Funeral Home in Auburn.

The funeral will be held on Friday May 27th at 10:00 a.m. at the North American Martyr's Church on Wyoma Drive.
