*Class A uniforms with caps, gloves and badge covers for all occasions. 
If you don’t have a Class A then please wear uniform pants, blue shirt 
and black shoes. I have gloves and covers in my office. Anyone needing a 
blue shirt can get one at Trippis. Check with Heidi to make sure they 
give you then correct blue! Department patches on the right shoulder. *

*On Sunday please be at the station at 3:00 PM. At the calling hours 
once all firefighters have gone through at 3:30 Holden firefighters will 
be doing Honor Guards in pairs at three locations in the Funeral Home, 
rotating every fifteen minutes. Deputy Bergstrom will be coordinating 
this. Please let him know if you will be there and willing to help out. 
This will start at 4 PM and go through 8 PM, with any luck. *

*At the Funeral on Tuesday some of you will be asked to help out in 
certain ways. I have given Lt. Miller the particular instructions and he 
will be in touch with some of you. For the rest of us we should plan to 
be at the church by 10:15. Please shuttle from HQ so we don’t take up a 
lot of the limited parking. We will be standing lining the front walk 
way and stairs both before and after the service. (Strongly consider 
long underwear!!) During the service we will sit in the last few pews. 
If you want to sit with family have them save you a seat and you can sit 
with them. At the end of the service Retired Chief Oberg will be giving 
the American Flagg to Linda Oberg and Deputy Bergstrom will be ringing 
the bell three times. At this point firefighters should quietly getup 
and line the front stairs and walk way while the casket is put back in 
the hearse. The on duty crew will have E1 there and go with the hearse 
back to Miles. We will stay in position until all guests have left the 
church.*
