[HFDlist] Lt's Position for Chaffins

Peter Benoit has stepped down as a Lieutenant for the Department. As a 
result of this we have an open position which we have decided to fill as 
a Chaffins Officer.

Therefore, we are accepting applicants for the open position of 
Lieutenant to work from the Chaffins Fire Station. In addition to the 
job description we are looking for a self-starter who can help lead the 
members at the Chaffins Station.

The successful candidate will be able to work with members of the 
department to help develop them, teach them and be a leader to them. In 
addition, the successful candidate will be able to take charge of the 
Chaffins station and its membership and continue to work on both 
physical and attitudinal changes to the station.

The Chaffins Station is a key part of the Holden Fire Department and 
provides quick initial response to the south end of Holden. The station 
is run mostly by call members of the department and the leadership must 
be able to effectively work with and build a team of the current members.

Applications are available on line and are due to the Chief of the 
Department by September 13, 2013. Applicants who do not currently have 
all of the required prerequisites will be considered. Questions should 
be addressed directly to the Chief.
