[HFDlist] FinCom Meeting March 7th

Public Safety will be presenting our budgets to the Finance Committee at 
7 PM this Thursday.

Some of the key items we are asking for:

The first stages of installing Opticom in the town. Next year will be 
vehicle transmitters and operator for two intersections. We will then do 
three more intersections over the next two years. Out goal is to improve 
the safety of traveling down Main Street!

The first stages of installing a Radio Box System in town. This year we 
asking for funding to install the radio box receiver in dispatch and to 
hook up a building or two. The system will monitor fire and burglar alarms.

We are also requesting more SCBA bottles, some new PPE and a replacement 
for car 3 which now has 112,000 miles.
