[HFDlist] Recap of announcements at training last night

As a reminder for those of you that were at training last night, and as 
a announcement for those of you who weren't, here a few things that were 
covered....

*** During snow storms where six inches or more are predicted we will be 
putting on two extra firefighters so that we will be able to staff both 
an ambulance and engine in the event of a call. These people will also 
be there to help with snow removal around the station. First choice will 
be firefighter/EMTs with FF I/II and second choice will be firefighters 
with firefighter I/II.

*** The new pick up truck ishere and in service and will be called Squad 
2. There will be a check off procedure so please do not drive it until 
checked off. The use of plowing with the truck will be restricted to 
those who have experience in plowing snow.

*** During training a questionnaire was passed out and completed asking 
members how competent they felt in various firefighting skills. If you 
missed this and would like to fill one out please let me know.

*** I am working on developing 2013 goals forthe department and for 
myself. If you have any suggestions please let me know in the next few 
weeks.
