Just a few reminders and requests for all members....

Driving Safety. Please remember that the law requires us to stop at red
lights and then proceed if/when it is safe to do so. If you do not stop
and get in an accident you most likely be found at fault no matter how
many lights and sirens you have on. As I mentioned a few months ago I
had a near miss at Main and 31. If I had rolled through the intersection
I would have collided with a vehicle whose operator was not paying
attention!

EMS Calls. If you are responding to the station for an EMS call or call
back please use your radio to sign on so that others know you are
available and responding. Also, please stay at the station until
relieved by the officer in charge or until the ambulance returns to the
station. Also, please remember to get the payroll sheet signed by the on
duty officer.

Water for Incident Rehab. There are six cases of water in the apparatus
bay refrigerator for Incident Rehab. Please DO NOT use this water for
anything else. If you use the water for rehab at the scene please be
sure to replace it at the end of the call.

Brush Season is coming!! We could be in for a very tough brush reason
with the lack of snow this year. Please make sure that your brush gear
is ready to go! Now that we have brush PPE you need to use it during
brush incidents. If you do not have brush gear please see Josh Poznanski
and see what he has available.

Thanks!
