Town Offices/Gale Free Library Closed, Nov. 11
Town offices and the Gale Free Library will be closed tomorrow, Friday,
November 11 in observance of Veterans Day. Town business offices will
reopen at 8 a.m., Monday, November 14. The library will reopen at 9 a.m.,
Saturday, Nov. 12.

Bailey Road Closed Nov. 11-14
Bailey Road will be closed Friday, November 11 so the Providence and
Worcester Railroad can replace the railroad ties and pave the road. Work
will begin at 6 a.m. that day. The road will be closed to through traffic
until the afternoon of Monday, November 14. For more information, please

Brush Chipping/Composting, Nov. 11 & 12
The Department of Public Works will host fall composting and brush
chipping events on Friday, November 11 and Saturday, November 12. Leaves
and grass clippings will be accepted at the Composting Facility, located
at the former landfill at 560 River Street. Brush chipping will be done at
the Adams Road garage, only. These events run from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and

Household Hazardous Products Collection, Nov. 19
The Wachusett Watershed Regional Recycling Center, 131 Raymond Huntington
Highway, West Boylston, will hold a Household Hazardous Products
Collection (paints and chemicals, electronics and recycling/reuse items),
