As of 6:45 p.m., Monday, October 31, 2011 all Holden Municipal Light
Department customers had power restored to their homes and businesses.
If you are just returning to your home and do not have power, please
contact the Light Department at (508) 210-5400 and crews will be
dispatched immediately. Light department crews are now addressing
reports of low hanging electrical wires and other storm and
clean-up-related issues.

This week, the Department of Public Works will be chipping branches and
trees that fell on town roads during the storm. Any resident who has
branches that fell on their property should bring them to the Adams Road
DPW facility during our regularly scheduled composting and chipping days
on November 5, 11, 12 and 19^. The events run from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30
p.m. and are for Holden residents, only. Please remember that all trees
within the Asian Longhorned Beetle restricted boundaries may not be
transported out of the area. Please visit www.holdenma.gov
