I would like to thank the fire dept. of Holden for rescuing me from my  
house I rent at 73 Shrewsbury.  It was a horrific night as the trees  
and wires crashed down around the house, and living alone as well as  
being new from NY added to my anxiety and fear.  I stayed at the  
senior shelter and everyone was great and they deserve medals for  
their efforts.  I feel that the town is a wonderful place that cares  
for its own.  That is a rarity in this world.  I work at WSC and have  
been in NY working from here, as my home had no power as of yesterday.  
 I did get there and grabbed my things for the holiday.  I wish all a  
well, peaceful and joyful holiday.  I know you folks are getting the  
same storm we are getting here in Central NY and so extra grace,  
again.... Thank you-
