    <p>All:</p>

    <p>Just a few quick personnel updates to share:</p>

    <p>1.  FF/Paramedic Karl Doane has accepted a position with the

      Auburn Fire Department and his last shift will be on Thursday

      12/11.  We wish Karl well in his new position.</p>

    <p>2.  We have added two new Call Firefighter recruits who will be

      starting on 12/1, they are Tanyon Ventres and Thomas Kokernak. 

      Hopefully, we will have both enrolled in the upcoming Call/Vol

      recruit program.</p>

    <p>3.  For the three open positions, we held interviews on 11/5. 

      The interviews were conducted in two separate panels, the first

      was with the Shift Captains and also contained an EMS component. 

      The second panel was with myself and the Deputy.  I am pleased to

      report that we had several excellent candidates.  The top three

      candidates are currently in background checks.  The hope is to

      have them on board in early January.</p>

    <p>4.  FF Robert Walters has been assigned as the Emergency

      Management Coordinator.  This was effective on 11/1.  </p>

    <p>5.  The vacant Senior Firefighter position on Group 3 has been

      posted and applications/resumes will be accepted until 12/15.</p>

    <p>Finally, FF JD Quist will be graduating from the <b><u>MFA

          Career Recruit program on Monday 12/1, 11am at the Stow Campus</u></b>. 

      Please come out, support and celebrate JD for his accomplishment

      and hard work.</p>
