If you have already paid for your recert, you will not need to pay again, but all providers should login to the portal to link your certification. If you have not already paid your recert, it must be done through the new portal below.<br>

Existing EMT Basics, Advanced EMTs, and EMT Paramedics, including pending initial or renewal applications, will need to create an account at <a class="OWAAutoLink" href="https://healthprofessionlicensing.mass.gov/" id="OWAbfe8a5fe-617e-1ab5-0512-86405e106210" style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;" name="OWAbfe8a5fe-617e-1ab5-0512-86405e106210">Health Professions Licensing Portal</a>. Once the account is created, select "Manage My Licenses and Applications" and use your certification number (including your prefix letter E, A, or P) and social security number to link your certification to your account. <p style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;"><span style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Certification applications, including the State Recertification Application and $125 fee (Step B) for those due to renew by 03/31/2024, must be submitted on the <b><a class="OWAAutoLink" href="https://healthprofessionlicensing.mass.gov/" id="OWA8d45ddea-0fea-7163-d1e5-62e6251d7ca8" style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;" name="OWA8d45ddea-0fea-7163-d1e5-62e6251d7ca8">Health Professions Licensing Portal</a></b>. In addition, you will receive <b>updated EMT cards</b>, update address information, and access your MA EMS information on the new online licensing system. </span></p>
<p style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;"><span style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">All EMTs will be required to create an account within the eLicensing portal linked above, and for EMTs due to renew by March 31, 2024, <b>if you have</b> <b>already submitted your State Recertification Application and fee prior to January 29th, you will <u>still need to create an account and link your certification,</u></b> but you <u>will</u> <b><u>not</u></b> <u>need</u> to resubmit your application and payment.</span></p>
