First off, I would like to say that I am very excited to take on the role of Department Training Captain!! The training committee has developed a schedule for 2017, which we will stick with. I am making a couple small changes to start in an attempt to make trainings run more smoothly.<br>

<br>

Starting with the 2/21 Mandatory Training on SCBA, the lead instructor will be responsible for having an outline along with all assigned instructors/support staff emailed to me at least 2 weeks prior to the scheduled training.  I will then take info from the outline along with other topic related info and send it out to the entire department so everyone will know exactly what to expect on training night. This will also give people the opportunity to review the topic if needed or seek help before hand.<br>

I have noticed we waste alot of time setting up groups/teams at the beginning of all training. If you are not attending please notify me before hand as the groups will be set up and distributed via email the night before training along with times and locations.<br>

We will continue to strive to conduct the best training possible. So, if you have any recommendations, concerns or complaints, please let me know.<br>
