Dear IamResponding User:
<br>
You are receiving this notification because you have at least one
AT&T text address
<br>
in your IaR member profile.
<br>
AT&T has been experiencing an issue for the past week within
their text messaging
<br>
platform that is affecting some IaR messages, to some users. While
many text messages
<br>
are being delivered through their platform without issue, some
messages are not
<br>
being delivered at all by AT&T, and others are being delayed by
AT&T for varying
<br>
durations.
<br>
We have been in constant communication with AT&T about this
issue, which is also
<br>
affecting many messaging and notifications systems other than IaR.
They have assured
<br>
us that they are working diligently on this, but have not provided a
firm date/time
<br>
for a resolution.
<br>
We encourage maximum redundancy in all aspects of your IaR
messaging, to include
<br>
texts, emails, and push notifications to our free IaR apps. As
advised within
<br>
your member profile:
<br>
"No single method of message delivery is perfect. Any delivery
method can be impacted
<br>
or delayed by factors outside of our control. Redundancy is
critical, and strongly
<br>
recommended. Please select multiple methods of delivery of your
dispatch messages
<br>
(push, text, email, etc). DO NOT ABANDON YOUR PAGERS. Push, text and
email notifications
<br>
are dependent on many factors beyond our control and should be used
as supplemental
<br>
notifications only."
<br>
If you are not set up to receive your regular messages and dispatch
notifications
<br>
(if your department receives those via IaR) via all available means
(text, email
<br>
and push notifications to your app), then please adjust your member
profile settings
<br>
accordingly. If you need assistance with how to do this, please
contact <a class="moz-txt-link-abbreviated"
href="mailto:support@emergencysmc.com">support@emergencysmc.com</a>.
<br>
Should you have any questions about this issue, please do not
hesitate to contact
<br>
our office with any questions. Thank you for your cooperation.
<br>
Very truly yours,
<br>
Daniel R. Seidberg, President
